The 17th JazzFest at Sea will be taking place onboard the MSC Meravigilia departing New York to Canada and New England on October 2, 2020 for 10 nights. The cruise presents Classic Jazz, Chicago Jazz, Traditional Jazz, Dixieland and other jazz styles which emerged during the first half of the 20th century.

This year’s lineup features some of the legends of the jazz world including Houston Person, Warren Vaché and Allan Vaché. Other greats include John Sheridan, Bob Draga, John Allred, Ted Rosenthal, Danny Tobias, Scott Robinson, Giampaolo Biagi, Brian Nalepka, Fred Stoll and Charlie Silva with more to be named soon! Vocalists include Banu Gibson and Yve Evans. A swinging jazz singer, Banu is one of the few vocalists of her generation to maintain exclusive loyalty to songs of the 1920s, '30s, and '40s. Yve, a crowd-pleasing performer who radiates energy, has a heavenly soft voice that is reminiscent of Ella Fitzgerald and Betty Carter all rolled into one.

JazzFest at Sea, one of the leading jazz cruises for ‘20’s – ‘40’s jazz, not only has amazing performances each evening of the cruise, but also afternoon sessions on days at sea. In addition to special jazz related events, individual musicians are mixed and matched to create jazz sets not able to be seen or heard anywhere else.
All presented in an intimate jazz club atmosphere limited to 250 guests!

"We get the very best jazz musicians to participate and I'm proud to have had a part in creating the great music we have on this jazz cruise every year," says the great clarinetist Allan Vaché.

Additionally, the cruise features the
JazzFest Jammers program which is an opportunity for amateur musicians to bring their own instruments and jam with other guests and pros. This group is led by John Skillman and Mike Evans who also provide instruction upon request.
